How can I sync/share a contact list between multiple domains, with multiple users, on Outlook, and iPhone/Blackberry?

Hello, I hope someone here can help with this issue.  Here is the scenario;

We have 3 businesses we'll call business1, business2, and business3 owned by one person.  Each business has it's own domain we'll call domain1.com, domain2.com, and domain3.com.  These businesses all have contact lists associated with them.

The owner of these businesses want's himself and a couple of employees to have access to all of the contact lists.  He would also like business1 employees to have access to business3 contact lists, and vice versa.  Only business2 employees and the owner should have access to business2's contact lists.

Each of the employees for all the businesses use Outlook (Some 2003, some 2007).  Also there is a mix of iPhones and Blackberries.

We were looking at something like Google apps to be the backbone for all the contact lists.  I know that Google contacts can sync with Outlook, Blackberry and iPhone.  What I'm not sure about is how to make it deal with multiple domains.

Say we setup domain1.com with Google apps.  Employees of business1 would be able to sync the contacts from google@domain1.com to their Outlook and Blackberries/iPhones, but I can't seem to find a way for them to also sync with google@domain3.com.  This is where we get stuck.

What I'm asking is if someone knows how to get Google Apps, Outlook, and iPhone/Blackberry to behave in this way.  Or is there another solution out there that might be able to do this?

The owner does not want to invest in in-house server architecture, and would like to keep all of the data in some sort of Cloud environment.  Price is not really an issue.

Please let me know if you guys think this is possible, or if I need to explain it better...

Thank you!
