GoldMine SQL Trigger - Store Procedure

I will ask my question a little differently. You did answer the second part of my question but I really needed to rephrase the first part of my question. Thanks.

Using Goldmine Premium Edition running on MSSQL 2005. What is the sql trigger statement or stored procedure if I want Key1 to self update with a value based on a hire date field.

Example:  
If uhire is >= 30 then upriority = AA or
If uhire is = 29 then upriority = A or
If uhire is < 15 then upriority = C or
If uhire is between 25 and 30 then upriority = B and
Department = 'BF'

Not sure with your Department = 'BF' condition..
Kindly explain more on that..

Looks good but the uhire is a date field. So it needs to calculate how many years from today. The value 30 is actually years, 29 years, 15 years etc.
Department is a character field name within goldmine. It needs to find everyone > than 30 years of service with a status(department) of 'BF'

Use Datediff(yy, startdate, enddate) function which would tell the difference in years either 30 or 29 like that..

Ok... Just try it out by adding all those in the CASE statements and if you face any errors kindly give me the query which you tried so that I can help you out..
