Getting ODBC for AS400 without an Installation CD:<br />

The CA express distribution may be residing on the AS400 disks.<br />
If it does, then for Version 5.1 it's location is /QIBM/ProdData/CA400/Expre<wbr />ss<br />
You can FTP to the AS400 and download everything you find in this folder to your PC, and then install it.<br />
<br />
During custom Install, under the data access category you will find ODBC and OLE DB. Select both.<br />
Under Operation Navigator category select databases.<br />

If you can get the Client access/ iseries access program I think it has an option to just install ODBC type stuff.

I am trying to setup a ODBC connection with a AS/400 server from a windows xp system and i can not seem to find any sort of driver. Can someone point me a a driver that will work. Also if there are any quarks about using it, that would be appricated.<br />
