SQL1032N No start database manager command was issued. SQLSTATE=57019 error

hi everbody

before some months i installed the DB2 9 on the windows server 2003. Initially it was working properly. But after that i have not started it for so many days.But today when i tried to start it. i got the following error. At the DB2 command prompt when i typed the command

db2 => start database manager

i got the following exception

SQL1032N No start database manager command was issued. SQLSTATE=57019

Also when i tried to execute the following command

db2start

got the following error

DB2-0 : The service has returned a service-specific error code.

can any body tell me how to solve this error?
what are the possible cause?
Is it related to expiration of DB2 copy?
