To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating. - The Grade of the Solution
- The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
- The Number of Author and Expert Comments
- The Number of Experts Contributing
- The Feedback of the Community

Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. 1) We have DB2 9.1 Express C on SUSE Linux 10.2 & DB2 iseries AS/400 V5R3.
2) We have many different queries simple to complex with few as well as many clauses.
3) We want to do pagination i.e. display 50 records at a time in front end based on results of these queries.
4) For this we need to fire a separate COUNT(1) and then separate overall query.
5) What we need is to get COUNT(1) and rest of the SELECT list data in single query without repeating none/much of the clauses of the queries.
6) OLAP functions like ROW_NUMBER() OVER(PARTITION BY ......) do not work on iseries AS/400 V5R3.
7) Please suggest different ways to achieve the above.
