I'm looking at buying a new GPS, I've heard a lot of good things about Garmin and am really looking at the GPSMap 60CSx
https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=310. The only problem I see is that it does not come pre-loaded with very good automotive routing maps (or so the reviews say). I could buy the additional software (City Navigator), but hate to pay an additional $100 for that just in turn to have to buy new software if I want to go out on a boat or something...
Just wondering if maybe I'm approaching this from the wrong angle and there is some bundled package that includes what I need in one? Or should I be looking at Magellan or Tom-Tom or something for better deals?
