goog map tooltip

Hello - I have the following map:
http://www.pdgmedia.com/files/maptest-2.html

I'm trying to add a basic tooltip for each marker, based on the city and province of each markers infoWindow - but not having any luck.

Could someone kindly advise what the syntax might be?

You can set the title when creating a new marker.

Thanks - but I'm not sure I follow. Doing below as suggested, would that not give the same tooltop for all markers?

Well, createMarker is your own function.
Just add a third parameter tooltip and call it with your tooltip variable.
Your code will become like this:

PS Your question is related to javascript programming.
Would you please adjust the primary zone to it instead of 'GIS & GPS Programming'

function createMarker(point,html,tooltip)
       {
               new GMarker(point, {icon:icon, title:tooltip});
               GEvent.addListener(marker, "click", function()
               {
                       marker.openInfoWindowHtml(html);
               });
               return marker;

Yes - I had just figured that one out, sorry for being slow :-)
Will adjust the zone now.
BTW - when I click on the heart on the left the infoWindow doesn't completely clear the boundaries, is that something I did or normal behaviour? My understanding that the map would pan to make sure there was enough room to completely fit the popup, assuming of course it's less high than the entire region...

I think it's due to the google maps scripts.
When you drag the map to the left (so that the second heart is at the left of your map), it has the same behaviour...
When clicking the marker which is positioned right (from the center of the map), it doesn't happen...

Very strange indeed; I haven't got a clue...

Finally got a reply saying the primary zone doesn't matter, so I guess it's been left as is. Thanks for the generosity of your time in answering my question.
