A GPS unit (possibly a pda) is in the car which is tracked by the office to know the speed/location of the car and messages can be exchanged . The office can send the closes job to the closest car. Any body give me some ideas . I am really keen to work on this project.

Uness you also need to display where the satellites are, the only sentence you should need is GPRMC (Recommended Minimum) which will give you Location as well as COG (Course over ground) & SOG (Speed over ground).
