Display Coordinates ( Lat Lon) upon mouse click

G'day all,

I'm a land Surveyor who  don't know much programming. What I want to do is, upon entering an Address in Google Map,  I need to be able to click  on 3-4 points on the map and the lat and long of the point I clicked  can be displayed on the map. (Maybe on the top of the Marker?) So i can take a screen shot and print it out.


I know this maybe a noob question, any of your help will be greatly appreciated.

Seems google itself can provide some answers

here is an example that should be fairly easy to modify
Click on the map and then click on the blue marker to see what I believe you want

Thanks for the reply,

Actually, I found the exact same example on google. Its great, however, there is only one problem:

Google map can only display 1 marker info window at the same time.

I read through some documents on Google discussion group and realize it is impossible.

Of course, some of you guys may have the way to work around it, (finger crossed..)


Thanks again for the contribution, and I will wait 48 hours for any new suggestion before I give away the points.

What you COULD do was to show the marker positions NEXT to the map like google does when you look at user suggested site info

This is fine as long as they display coordinates, I did a search on the internet, But none of them show coordinates.
