Browse All TopicsI was trying to see if it was possible to save a google map to a file folder system as an image ie(jpeg, gif, etc.). I know the legalize about the Terms of Use of google maps, but was still searching for the code to save a google map.

-you must specify the tile that you want to save (ex: location)
-you must save every tile manually (right click->save image)

People have been doing this (then drawing "I live here" on it) for years to send directions to friends in email
btw, re: Tile-download tools - Google detects sequential requests for tiles, so you'll get blocked if you try to fetch/save the tiles in a linear fashion
