The sqlhosts file was correct but I didn't change the port number that was associated with the INFORMIXSERVER..

INFORMIXSERVER does not match either DBSERVERNAME or DBSERVERALIASES, multiple informix servers on server
Hi All,
i'm trying to connect to an informix server using jdbc . i am running into problems connecting to some Informix Servers. The server has multiple instances of Informix servers installed. I can connect to some INFORMIXServers but not others.
Each time it fails i get
java.sql.SQLException: INFORMIXSERVER does not match either DBSERVERNAME or DBSERVERALIASES
The fact that i can connect to the some informix servers has me baffled.
Any ideas on what could be wrong?
