I'm trying to get my windows 2003 AD LDAP services working, but it seems that it's not working.
i'm using exchange 2003 as my email server, there were no problems for PC outlook users as i think their Global address book goes through by the exchange OWB (correct me if i'm wrong).
Issue is with my mac users that are using entourage. Entourage uses LDAP to allow them to view the global address book. but the problem is that it doesn't recognize the the LDAP server which is my WIndows 2003 AD server. Initially i thought that it was my entourage problems but apparently it was not.
Because when i do a LDAP search from my internet explorer for example:
Take DNS my windows 2003 AD is "mail.ldapsrtbet.com"
i key in "ldap://mail.ldapserver.co
It will brings me to windows address book search windows, but when i key in a name of one of the AD users, i will be prompt of the below error messages
"An error occurred while performing the search.
Your computer, your internet service provider, or the specified directory service may be disconnected. Check your connections and try again"
Could anyone advise me on how to check whether is there problems with my LDAP services in my windows 2003 with AD? Or how to configure a LDAP services in windows 2003
