Index not found Error 3015 Access 2003
Used Microsoft's "Access 2003 Conversion Toolkit" to convetrt an Access 97 MDB. Had to re-link the one external Foxpro dbf table. The linked table is operating OK, I think. I see fields from it in some forms in the applkication.
However, when I "run" certain queries, I get an error message: Index not found. (error 3015)
Can anyone help me please?

Can you post one of the queries that are giving you the error?
Only link I found the error in question - doesn't show up in a KB search of Access 2003 but does for Access 2k - may be related.

Hi jbriley3,
I have asked the Community Support crew to reopen this question as it is not answered on this thread. The other (newer) question you posted may be deleted by CS as well. If you have issues with the interface or are not sure how to handle a situation at EE you can always ask a free question at

Run a repair/compact and if the index is still not present, rerun the conversion of that database AFTER compact/repairing the Acc97 version of it.
you may want to get a copy of the JetComp Tool from http://www.accessdatabaserepair.com/jetcomp.htm it will handle v97 files
regards

ASKER
Had to "rebuild" my PC and now have different problems with the conversion. Thanks for all of the responses, but I was seeing some other symptoms I thought might need a re-install. This issue is closed. Thanks again!
