Developer tab missing from Main tabs for Access 2010.

We are getting ready to upgrading to windows 7 office 2010 and was doing some testing. running into issues with references. So I open Access 2010 to check for tools. The issue here is the Developer tab is missing. Went to
File-Customize Ribbon-Main Tabs and no developer tab to select. Any ideas how to get the tab to show up? I've attached image of where I was looking to add.

boag2000,

That solution seems to be for all office products other than Access and I have seen it.  I've also tried to check the developer tab but as you'll notice in my question, I did those steps up to the point it says to check the Developer box. But since its missing I can't check it. I'm not sure why its missing. See attached image.

For example, ...
Do  Google image search of:
    Access 2007 developer tab
...or
    Access 2010 developer tab

...and you will see Word, Excel and even PowerPoint images.
I did not see any for Access...

If you are referring to the menu (Tools | References...), it is found in the Visual Basic Editor. Press Alt+F11 from Access to open it. However, you only have references from an existing project, not from Access as such.

harfang, I'm aware of where to check. My issues is I can add or register missing references. Gov machine. Thanks anyways.

Not sure what I was thinking. the tools where right in front of my face. Layout is different and threw me off. sorry to waste your time. Thanks

Not really a waste of time.
I take every question as a learning experience.

For example, I did a fair amount of research to make sure a "developer" tab was not available in Access 2007/2010
