Access error saving comments, odbc sql server driver string or binary data would be truncated
We have an application and our developer is out of town until next week. However we have a major problem saving comments in a certain field.
Yesterday before he left we were getting this error everytime we try to save new comments as seen in the image below. The developer said "this is working now after I refresh the database connection". Im not sure what this means.
Today:
In the comments, I can type TEST and save. One user typed “Received payment and mailed out records to office” and it would throw the odbc error. I would remove the word “office”, and it would save. I tried typing just the word office and it would save… real random.
I have some programming experience and web development experience. Can someone assist me in resolving?
