Browse All TopicsI am trying to use the Microsoft ADO Data Control 6.0 in VB5, I have registered it with "regsvr" but am getting the following error message:
"License Information For This Component Not Found. You Do Not Have An Appropriate License To Use This Functionality In The Design Environment".
How do I get around this?

You first need to un-register the dll using regsvr /u.
Then you need to install the latest service pack for VB5, which should contain the appropriate data control for VB5.
Use the control provided for VB5. I don't believe you can use the VB6 control within VB5.
