What exists :
A person submits a registration form and an immediate autoresponder is sent as an email to him acknowledging that he has signed up successfull. His username and password is included in that email.This uses ASP and JMAIL/CDONTs scripting. This works fine.
What is needed:
Instead of the email being sent immediately, I need it to be sent after 2 hours. Here the ASP solution will not be useful as this needs to be automated. So clearly a Trigger needs to be written. How can I do this? How can I call a email component like JMAIL/CDONTs in my trigger? What needs to be setup in my SQL Server 2000 ? Are there settings needed to be done ?
OR
Is there a better way. If so , How ?
