Is there a easy way to use the prompt output command with dates Eg, I need to get the following output instead of using DBMS
report for 01-JAN-2003 to 30-JAN-2003.

The question is not clear! If you are asking about how to print a line 'Report for Fromdate to Todate' in SQL Reports, use DBMS_OUTPUT package or use UTL_FILE package.
