Everyone can probably give you different definitions, but basically, it comes down to a DataMart is a small piece of the data warehouse.  A data warehouse is usually comprised of multiple datamarts.

Basically, a datamart is a small section of data that is specific to a department or a small group of people.  The data warehouse is usually created to be used by the enterprise or the orginization.

yes datamart and dataware house basically same
the only difference is that datawarehouse is composed of different datamart.
In Mart
>Designed for a Specific Business Purpose
Typically Smaller
>" Button-up" (from User)
>Flexible to User's Needs
>User's Can Often Design Own Analyses

While the warehouse is:
>Designed as General Warehouse for Corp. Data
Typically Larger
>Detail Data Often Maintain
>"Top-Down" (from Corporate)
>Massive Structure and Varied Demands Make Change Difficult
>May Compromise a Series of Data Marts

Hope this one can help you more understand the Datamart and DataWarehouse
