With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not?   • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. SQL Stored Procedure / Multiple Selects

Someone please tell me why this isn't working, it should be a fairly simple solution:
----
CREATE PROCEDURE proc_TEST

AS

SELECT TOP 5 * FROM TESTDB1
SELECT TOP 5 * FROM TESTDB2
GO
----

This SP would lead me to expect 10 rows to be returned - the top 5 rows, then those same 5 rows again.  However it's only returning 5 rows from one of the tables and ignoring the other SELECT statement.

I need to figure out how to make this work with muliple selects - please do not tell me to use union or join, I need it to work like the way I typed the SP above.  I have tried this through Enterprise Manager and through ADO, getting the same results on both (just the last 5 records).  If I need to set something different in the ASP page that executes this SP, please give me exact code to create the ADO object, set whatever needs to be set, and roll.
