Yeah, that's the thing, I can't seem to find that db4. I found db.h, but it's not in a "db" directory. Am I installing the database wrong?
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI'm trying to install Apache server 2.0.49 using Berkeley DB in Linux. I've installed Berkeley DB 4.2.52 over and over again, but every time I try to run the configure command for Apache, I keep getting
configure: error: Berkeley db4 not found
The configure command I run is:
configure --prefix=$HOME/local --enable-dav --enable-so --with-berkeley-db=$HOME/l
Everything seems to work fine until it starts checking for the Berkeley DB. I've installed the patches, but I still get the following output. Any suggestions?

The output just tell that a db4/db.h can not be found. So is there anywhere a db4? or is it just named db/db.h or the like?
