Cursor disappearing on Oracle Forms 9i

Cursor disappearing

We are running our application on Forms Developer Version 9.0.4.13 with Oracle 10G as the Application Server, the database is 9.0.2 version.

Sometime what happens is that the cursor which normally "blinks" inside an item, stops blinking and the form looks like it is hanging. The user find it hard to locate the cursor point. Most of the time the user has to be close the form and re-open it or, move to the next block and return the previous block. Is there is someway we can avoid this. We find that this is happening if the forms runtime session is left running for a long time. Any suggestion is welcome.

we had the same problem with our own application (which uses oracle forms 6i) and the solution to our prob was installing patch 13 of it.
