Hi,

how can we sum the first 5 records from where the currect record is ?

table called required

columns are

dayname time value seq
monday 0000 9 1
monday 0030 2 1
monday 0100 3 1
monday 0130 1 1
monday 0200 4 1
monday 0230 1 1
monday 0300 3 1
monday 0330 1 1
monday 0400 4 1
monday 0430 1 1
monday 0500 3 1
monday 0530 1 1
monday 0600 4 1
monday 0630 1 1

output
__________
dayname time value
monday 0000 19 <---first 5 records
monday 0030 11 <----next set of 5 records
....

seq changes when they day changes i.e. 2 for tuesday, 3 for wednesday .... 7 for sunday
there would be a small problem, since the values go thru monday up to sunday, on sunday at 2100 we would need to query monday at 0000 to get the 5 records.
Please help me solved this sql query in ms access.
