Question

Before Date SQL query

Hi,

I have a customer table, it has one DATETIME field called "REGISTERDATE".

I want to select all data which has REGISTERDATE before March 31, 2005.

So, REGISTERDATE = April 1, 2005 will not be selected.

Anyone know the SQL query for this ?

I assumed it was SQL Server but maybe I shouldn't have

Hi,
if you use Oracle DB then,
select *
from table
where registerdate < to_date('march 31, 2005', 'month dd, yyyy');

OR  you can use the exact date format in your table instead of using the " to_date" function.

Hi if the database is SQL server use the following query

select * from customer where registerdate < '2005-03-31 00:00:00.000'

The database is TurboDB. But it says compatible with SQL standard.

Then it should work, I just noticed I missed a space between customer and where
