Browse All TopicsHello Experts,
I want to ask you some advice about using the receipt printer EPSON TM-U220 A.
I designed a software (FoxPro 7.0) for a restaurant which is using this type of printer. I installed the printer, installed the 'Advanced Printer Driver' for Windows (from EPSON site), designed the reports, but ...
1. if I use Windows fonts the printer doesn't print red lines, and after printing 4-5 small orders or a very long order, the printing became not inteligible - characters like ááááá | áÇÇÇÇÇÇÇ=ááááá, etc are printed, and the printer begin screaming. The printer cuts the paper.
2. if I use printer's fonts (like 13.3 CPI, 16 CPI,13.3 CPI(RED), 16 CPI(RED)) all is OK , but only for the first 2-3 printed orders - sooner than when using Windows fonts. The printer cuts the paper.
3. if I use Generic Printer, there is no formatting, but the characters are very pleasant. The problem is that the printer doesn't cut the paper , and doesn't print red lines.
It looks like I need someone who worked with this kind of printer.
Can you help me ?
Gabriela
