I have got PostgreSQL installed on windows XP, seems to be working fine. I have earlier installed XAMPP (Apache,PHP,MySQL install) so I can run my scripts for testing locally. However I'm totally clueless in configuring PostgreSQL to work in the PHP environment. I have uncomment the extension line required. But I still get this error when I tried accessing phpPgAdmin via localhost:
Your PHP installation does not support PostgreSQL. You need to recompile PHP using the --with-pgsql configure option.
Now how do I do that?

Well the message is clear you have to recompile or find a PHP with PostgreSQL support enabled.
Get the sources, install the PHP sources and check what other things you need to enable. For the time beeing you can put
the stuff below in an HTML file
<?php
phpinfo();
?>
and see what features are enabled.
Now if you have not a clue about compiling software yourself , you better start you search for php postgresql enabled windows or the like.
Regards
Friedrich
