MSSQL HA option
Dear Sir,
I am new to MSSQL and would like to seek your advice.
I am going to setup 2 x MSSQL 2005 DB server and I would like to have HA for auto failover.
It seems that there are many methods .... like
(1) Server cluster
(2) Data mirroring
(3) Database snapshot
(4) Replication
Can anyone tell me the difference ? and which Window OS and MSSQL version do I need for each option ?
By the way, any document detailing the difference of each method
thx a lot
