INSERT data in lower case - oracle

Hi

I am having a senario were we need to insert data in lower case. even if the user types in upper case the data should be saved in lower case.

I know how to get data in lower case in SELECT. but I am not sure about INSERT.

Please let me know if there is a way we can conver data to LOWER or UPPER data while inserting.
