I have an interesting situation. Please do not laugh but are company is still using MAS90 for our "sudo" ERP system. Well we also utilize TM1 (IBM Cognos) for our budgeting tasks. We recently upgraded our TM1 server to 64-bit. Well, there is no ODBC driver for MAS that runs on 64-bit. So we were given some direction for creating a linked server in SQL. That works just fine and I can query it in SQL no problems. However, I need to create a DSN for it on the TM1 server so TM1 can access the MAS database.
First of all, is this possible?
Secondly, how do I accomplish it?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

If your server can run 32 drivers, the standard MAS driver will work. It sounds as you have two servers. Since the MAS server is still 32 bit (?), export the MAS data and then use you SQL tools to pick it up. Does the TM1 server have ODBC drivers (most likely), put the job on the MAS server as a PUSH rather than the TM1 as a PULL. I have done this woth Cognos before. If my assumptions are correct. let me know and I will give more detail.
