Otherwise you are passing a literal string "CurrentDate" instead of utilizing the CurrentDate function to generate the current date value. Hope that makes sense.

I am using Crystal reports 9 to interrogate a SQL Server 2008 express database and am trying to run a report that will return all bookings for today from a booking table. I am using CurrentDate in the Select Expert Formula editor and have my PC (Client and Server on same machine) set to use YYYY-MM-DD date format in regional settings on Win XP, same as the server app but cannot get it to return any records, yet when I use todays date as a literal (2009-09-14) it returns the 3 bookings that are in there.
Best regards
David
