I'm trying to write a script that will tell me if there are users with more than one account in my database.
I have a table like this:
username lastIP
mike 21.22.33.44
bill 123.546.458.11
jess 154.156.414.44
ted 21.22.33.44
fanny 21.22.33.44
jon 123.546.458.11
I am wondering if there is a simple select statement I can use that will return all the usernames where there are more than one IP that matches....
So for this table the result woudl be:
mike, 21.22.33.44
ted, 21.22.33.44
fanny, 21.22.33.44
bill, 123.546.458.11
jon, 123.546.458.11
If there is no easy solution, I can always setup a series of loops that will check and do multiple selects, but I'd rather stay away from that if there is another way. Any ideas? Thanks.

Here is the error I am getting when I use what you have given me...
SQL-query :
select * from Users where LastIP in (select LastIP from Users group by LastIP having count(LastIP) > 1) LIMIT 0, 30
MySQL said:
You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'select LastIP from Users group by LastIP having count(LastIP) > 1) LIMIT 0, 30'

I tried that code:
select distinct a.UserName, a.LastIP from Users as a inner join Users as b on a.LastIP = b.LastIP where a.UserName <> b.UserName
and it returns of 67,000 results when there are only about 1500 rows in the table.
Thanks for the advice about using IP for what I am doing. This is mostly for me to have an idea of the number of users who may have more than one account. I have installed a banning feature that uses the IP address, do you have any suggestions of a better way to block access other than using IP? Maybe cookies? but those are easily deleted.
