I guess I better download latest reference manual for MySQL. The one I have, does not even talk about EXISTS.

Question
Equivalent to EXISTS in MySQL
Is there any function equivalent to EXISTS that will return TRUE or FALSE answer telling is a record exists corresponding to given WHERE clause. I am not looking for a solution that will involve going through the whole table and return a count. I am looking for behavior simialr to EXISTS function in MS SQL.
