What I'm looking for is more of a general solution regardless of the dialects and quirks within each I realize that they are not all exactly alike and have their own custom functions, etc.
How do you run a query to pull monthly data for multiple months with beginning and ending balances for each month? I think that can be achieved on any of the paltforms using SQL language and that would give me direction as how to solve my problem.
