MySQL: how to clean tables and get the HardDisk's space back?

Hello all :)

I have low disk space, only beacuse of one table in my MySQL DB....
i want to delete rows and get my HD's space back.
i've deleted some rows... but it does'nt free space.

Do i need to shrink the table or optimize it ?
my DB is 184 G....
