A loop in mysql

Hello,

I have mysql tables which are created everyday by system and each of them contains 24 h data. I want to select the MAX count of 'column1' in hourly bases.

Column1 Column2
data logging_time as unixtime format

select @time_ref := truncate(min(logging_time)/3600,0); /// This gives me a reference hour
let us consider that @time_ref returns 36563 on this querry.

What I am trying to do is;

select count(*) from TABLE where logging_time between (@time_ref)*3600 and (@time_ref+1)*3600;

select count(*) from TABLE where logging_time between (@time_ref+1)*3600 and (@time_ref+2)*3600;

select count(*) from TABLE where logging_time between (@time_ref+2)*3600 and (@time_ref+3)*3600;
....
...
....

select count(*) from TABLE where logging_time between (@time_ref+23)*3600 and (@time_ref+24)*3600;

After that I need the maximum of this 24 output and insert it to another table like following;

insert into TABLE2 (busy_hour_count) values (@max-data);

I need to know the best method to do that.
