Need to count records based on one condition when a record is in common between two tables

I need to count records based on conditions within one table, mailed_data, for that records that appear in another table t_030db based on a field they have in common, t_030db.cmpr_me30 would be the match to mailed_data.cmprme


Pretty much I just need to count everyones cust_type in the mailed_data table that is also in the t_030db table with a last call date between July 20 and August 20, the dates are text but that way works as I far as I have seen in previous queries. I don't know much about joins so if that would work, please help.Start Free Trial
