SSIS DataSource in different environments

I have a series of SSIS packages created pointing to the development environment.

I need to move these packages to the UAT. I have created a SSIS config files storing my variables. Do I need a parameter in the SSIS file pointing to the database too?

Thanks a lot, your solution was very helpful.

I can now use an config.xml and change the database in the xml, without changing the code.

I will post the following as another question.

I ahve a master package and this calls 8 packages in a Visual studio solution.  DO I need a different file config.xml for each package or is there anyother easier way.
