No. Does it matter that they are overwriting previous backups?
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI just created what I thought was a pretty good system of backing up my sql server 2000 dbs. I set up a complete backup to run once a day and then transaction logs to run hourly. They all ran fine at first but now they are not running at all. Here is an example of an error message I get from the complete back up:
3041 :
BACKUP failed to complete the command BACKUP DATABASE [eMath] TO DISK = N'C:\Documents and Settings\bobs\My Documents\Online File Folder Mirror\eMath_Compl.bak' WITH INIT , NOUNLOAD , NAME = N'eMath Complete', NOSKIP , STATS = 10, NOFORMAT
Here is what I get from the transaction log backup:
3041 :
BACKUP failed to complete the command BACKUP LOG [Hangar51] TO DISK = N'C:\Documents and Settings\bobs\My Documents\Online File Folder Mirror\hangar51_trans.trn'
Any help would be much appreciated!
