Browse All Topicshi Experts, i have 2 mysql table and i want to add auto generated value in 2nd table from 1st but it return 0 not exact value i.e. if 8 is auto genrated value from 1st table but 0 inserted in 2nd table.
i m using these queries in different methods should i use them together and will i have to maintain connection session ?

You have to use the same connection.

For LAST_INSERT_ID(), the most recently generated ID is maintained in the server on a per-connection basis
