Question

mysql 5 innodb replication dual master

Asked by: sanatci

Dear Sirs,
I'm trying replication between two servers on mysql. Both OS is ubuntu, machines are same subnet.  I used some documents for to do. When i change some records replication is working. But when i add new records not working, just one server storing data. I wait  about 12 hours but not replicated.
Please see the codes.
1) How can work replication, what is the problem ?
2) Now, two database have different records, how can i merge it ?
Thanks a lot.

First thing I noted is "server-id=2" why they are same on both config?

by: theGhost_k8Posted on 2009-08-24 at 23:45:53ID: 25175006

In case of master-master replication why both cnf have same "master-host = 192.168.0.18" !!
Avoid specifying connection parameters for replication in config. file - rather use CHANGE MASTER TO command.

Keep habit of checking error log in case of problem.

You may just confirm steps explained in following tutorials:

Is there anything specific said in error log?

Check proper variable names: Its not "underscore".
auto-increment-increment
auto-increment-offset

This log don't show any problem - Is the replication working correctly?
From 192.168.0.26 --> 192.168.0.18 and reverse? Or atleast one master-slave is working correctly?
Do you see any thing on your error logs of both servers?
