mysqldump with --skip-extended-insert option creates a dump that looks like this:
insert into `table` values (blah blah blah);
I need it to look like this:
insert into `table` (`colname`, `colname` etc...) values (`value`, `value`, etc....)
what is the switch that will get mysqldump to format its output this way?

Man, I have GOT to stop answering my own questions :)
the switch is:
--complete-insert (or -c for shorthand)
this is useful for inserting into a table that has more columns than the one that was backed up from. Not so sure about the other way around.
