Joing Two Tables

I would like to join two tables that have the same fields but different names and data. There is no relation between the two tables so I could use a join statement.

Obviously:

SELECT *
FROM menu_sub_info, menu_sub_info2

would give all records and join all fields. I am not sure how to use distinct or group by in this case.

both tables have:
 
  `id_sub` int(4) NOT NULL auto_increment,
  `subname` varchar(255) default NULL,
  `categoryID` int(3) default NULL,
  `sorting` int(4) default NULL,
  `enabled` int(1) default NULL,
  `fulldesc` longtext,
  `pagetitle` varchar(255) default NULL,
  `added` timestamp NOT NULL default CURRENT_TIMESTAMP,
  `free1` varchar(255) default NULL,
  PRIMARY KEY  (`id_sub`)
) ENGINE=MyISAM  DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1 AUTO_INCREMENT=64 ;

order by col1, col2 (here the col1 , col2 are the aliases for the columns)
