This will return table name and column names from database which will let you know where the string found in entire database.
If you know particular table-name, you can use like / regexp queries:
select * from tablename where columnname regexp 'xyz';
Or else you may also apply fulltext index and search tables:
SELECT * FROM tablename WHERE MATCH (field) AGAINST ('value' );
