Oracle 10g installation

Hi  My OS is windows xp and I am trying to install oracle 10g  on my OS but getting this error
"thrown when the IP address of a host cannot be determined"
any help would be appreciated to solve this because I am trying to learn Oracle 10g by my own that why I need this installtation on my pc.
