Browse All TopicsMy dad recently installed OracleDb10g_home on my computer and when the computer starts up so does oracle.exe. This program utilizes 100mb of memory when it is idleing and must be manually shutdown everytime to free memory for other applications. My question is that how do I set which windows users it will automatically startup. I have tried startup manager programs and they all do not show entries of oracle.exe.

There should be a service (in Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services) for this, You need to set that to "Automatic". SO that it starts up at machine boot-up.
