Oracle 10G , I want to move my database files to the SAN

Asked by kaos_theory in Oracle 10.x

I have a server with 10g running  on it and i have a virtual volume attched to it and i can read right to this volume that is on a 3PAR san , I have a drive letter agginged to it, I want to either move the database to the san and/or copy the redo logs to it . I am thinking that this setting may be in the conrol file or something , how can I get the database to look to a different location the data files will now be on J: and not c:Start Free Trial
