How to Reduce the Temp Table Space used By the Query

While Executing a Query it consumes a Lot of Temp Table space, and Eventually ends up
throwing the Following Error "Unable to Extend Temp Table Space by 128",

We have tuned the Query, and on testiing in Our Test Server, the Query just Used 40Mb of Temp Space and took about 1:25 sec to get 6000 records. Now if i run this Modified Query on Production Server
Again we end up getting the same Error

Oracel Version :10.2.2.0
