They are the same for all users and it occurred with this user on each machine. We created a new AD account for the person and it works now.... odd one.

Browse All TopicsWe are having an issue with an account on our system. The user in question is unable to get ODBC connections to work for them on any of the 3 servers that we have tried. All of the other accounts have worked fine with no issues. We even copied his account and used the copied account to test and it worked fine.
Other notes:
" Oracle SQL Plus will connect to the database under the persons account
" We created a connection to another database server and the same issue exists for this person

what does the sqlnet.ora, tnsnames.ora and/or ldap.ora look like for the oracle home of that user?
that error means it tried to lookup what server and port to get to a database and couldn't find it. It has nothing to do with privileges of the account.
