How to use RMAN to copy database from linux to windows with backupset

Hello,

           I made a backupset of oracle 10g database on linux using RMAN. Now i want to duplicate this database on windows (XP) with this backupset. Is this possible? Can you tell me the detailed procedure to achive this?

to change platforms you'll need to export and import,  create a new database on windows then export (standard or datapump version) from Linux and then import (standard or datapump version) to Windows

So i cannot use the backupset to restore database on different platform.
