Have just moved from an 8i db with rule based optimzer to a Oracle 10g database, having some issues with performance and conflicting results, some people say let oracle manage the memory by just setting sga_target & Sga_max size others say set the indivdual parasmeters manually.

Here is a copy of the init ora, can anyone spot anything obvious that could be effect performance, i have also gathered stats and validated indexes
